Aleks Schaefer, PhD

Economist

Dr. Schaefer is a PhD economist and attorney with more than a decade of experience applying economic analysis in litigation and regulatory settings. He has served as a consulting expert in matters involving antitrust, competition policy, agricultural markets, trade, and damages estimation, working with both plaintiff and defense teams. His work includes valuation of economic harm, market power analysis, and large-scale data modeling in complex commercial and class-action disputes. He has advised on numerous high-stakes cases involving multinational firms and public agencies in the United States and abroad.


Dr. Schaefer earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Friends University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law, and a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis. He is currently a university professor in Oklahoma.
