Position Overview:
LCPMD is seeking a Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP) or Certified Nurse Life Care Planner (CNLCP) to perform detailed Medical Records Reviews and Costing analyses for life care plans, medical cost projections, and medical bill reasonableness of charges analysis. This dual-role position requires analytical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to apply structured methodologies.
The role is divided into two main components, each with its own pay and advancement structure:
Medical Records Review (MRR)
Costing Analysis
Additionally, professionals who demonstrate exceptional proficiency and reliability may be considered for advancement to a signing/testifying expert role.

Qualifications:
CLCP and/or CNLCP credentials required
Background in nursing, health sciences, vocational or related fields
Strong analytical and research skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a positive attitude
Proficient in Google Workspace, including Sheets, Drive, and Docs and cost estimation tools such as FairHealth
Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
Experience with Monday.com and/or Casefleet is a plus
Experience in legal nursing, the vocational field, medical record reviews, or cost analysis is preferred
Responsibilities:
Medical Records Review (MRR):
Efficiently review and summarize complex medical records.
Train and mentor junior reviewers.
Contribute to improving methodologies and automation processes.
Costing Analysis:
Perform cost analysis with full autonomy.
Maintain high accuracy and efficiency across multiple cases.
Train and mentor junior costing professionals.
Contribute to process improvements and automation.
Advancement to Signing/Testifying Expert:
Professionals who hold the appropriate credentials and prior experience may be eligible to begin signing and testifying to expert work upon successful completion of LCPMD’s training. Those without prior expert witness experience may still progress toward this role by demonstrating strong analytical skills, accuracy, and reliability in both MRR and Costing work.
