Tie Qian, MD, CLCP

Dr. Tie Qian is a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician and Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP) with over three decades of clinical and research experience involving complex injury conditions. His areas of expertise include spinal and orthopedic injuries, spinal cord injury (SCI), traumatic brain injury (TBI), complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), and acute and chronic pain syndromes.
Dr. Qian completed his PM&R residency at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation / UMDNJ in New Jersey, following prior orthopedic training. He is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and maintains an active clinical practice in South Florida, providing outpatient care and interventional procedures.
Dr. Qian has held an academic appointment as an Voluntary Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Miami School of Medicine and previously served as a staff physician within a VA spinal cord injury service, treating patients with catastrophic neurologic injuries. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented at national and international medical conferences, with research focused on spinal cord injury, neurologic recovery, and treatment outcomes.
Dr. Qian is known for delivering balanced, objective, and medically supported life care plans that assist counsel in evaluating future care needs and long-term treatment requirements in moderate-to-severe injury cases.
